No better way to face the frigid Memphis weather than head on. On Saturday, February 1st at 3 pm, join a bunch of insane Memphians to jump into the Wolf River from Mud Island River Park to benefit the Special Olympics of Greater Memphis.

You should really be in a costume because the craziest plunger actually gets a golden plunger, and who wouldn’t want that as a trophy?!

For the past 15 years, brave Memphians have been participating in this philanthropic event. On top of the plunge, there is also a chili cook-off that morning to warm you up before the big plunge. For $5, you can taste all the incredible chili recipes, so the freezing cold water is totally worth it.

Make sure to ‘Join’ the Facebook event here for more information!
